There are different politeness levels like 반말 (Casual, Informal) vs 존댓말 (Polite, Formal).I have used formal speech to be respectful. But when you write a journal It’s your space so you can feel free.

- My Experience about Korean Journaling
It’s been one year since I started writing a journal. When I was going through tough times in my life I started writing a journal in Korean as a hobby. It not only exercised my brain but literally improved my mental health.
The very first page of my journal was about “ Me & My Language Journey” “나와 나의 언어 여정”
Journaling in Korean gave me confidence to talk about what I had learned so far as a language learner. That’s how I started thinking about moving forward in my journey & I ended up here to write blogs & to share my thoughts & ideas to people. So I will highly recommend you all to write a journal in Korean.
